We are always looking for new volunteers to help in the areas listed below, and joining our dedicated team is a chance to make new friends and to be part of the rewarding task of bringing the town's history to life. There are occasional social events where you can get to know the other volunteers better and volunteers also enjoy free access to talks at the Winchcombe History Group.
Community Engagement - planning and taking part in events for the whole community.
Caring for our extensive Collection - collating, indexing, caring for and displaying the many artefacts we have.
Handyman - DIY jobs in our historic Victorian building, and using your practical skills to care for our historic artefacts and put up displays.
Social Media Volunteer - using your skills to advertise what's happening at the museum
Museum Assistant/Guide - welcoming over 6,000 visitors per year - many from abroad - and making sure they enjoy their visit.
Researcher - finding our more about the fascinating items in the museum's collection.
Cleaning - making sure that our museum always looks its best.
