‘Lockdown’ Photography Competition
We are living through extraordinary times and although our freedom of movement is currently limited, our freedom of expression isn’t.
With this in mind, we are excited to be working with the Royal Photographic Society (South West Branch) to run a ‘Lockdown’ photography competition inspired by the current lockdown and self-isolation that we are all experiencing.
This competition is open to all ages – from children to seniors, and will be judged in age groups.
How to Enter:
We would like you to use your camera lens / mobile phone / tablet to provide a window into your world during the 'Lockdown'.
We are looking for fun or emotional or inspiring pictures that show how you and your family and even your pets are getting through these strange times. The higher the resolution of the images the better.
You can take pictures in your home or garden or things you can see from where you live. Or why not take pictures on your daily walk/exercise?
Be as creative as you want, but please also be safe.
Once you have a photo you are happy with, submit your entry, stating your name and age via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org if you are a child please get your parent or guardian to do this for you. Please remember, only one photo per person is allowed in the competition (as in Terms & Conditions below).
All entries will be judged by the Royal Photographic Society SW Branch and a member of the Winchcombe Museum team.
On a regular basis during the period of the competition selected pictures will be displayed in a virtual gallery on our website and other social media.
The winners will have their prints displayed on the Museum website and other social media platforms as well as being on display in the Museum in the autumn (or at a later date should circumstances dictate) and the winners will also be invited to our re-opening Party.
Winners will also receive a Family Membership to the museum (valid for one year from when we reopen) and get a selection of prizes from the Royal Photographic Society.
Good luck everyone! - and be as creative as you like.
